I'm Dirk Gooren, senior UX consultant for vital business applications in enterprise and government. I turn complex questions into a clear strategy and concepts that hold, so investment goes into the right solution and the result lasts.

My work sits where business, people and technology meet. I make complex systems understandable, test ideas early with prototypes, and get stakeholders aligned before money goes into development. New technology is part of my toolkit, both in how I work and in what I design.

I trained as an industrial designer (MSc, intelligent systems and products) and have worked in UX since 2010. Since then I've shaped business-critical applications in healthcare, housing, government and finance, for organisations such as Radboud umc, the Belastingdienst and ING.

I move organisations forward with UX.

Ik ben Dirk Gooren, senior UX-consultant voor vitale bedrijfsapplicaties bij bedrijven en overheid. Ik vertaal complexe vragen naar een heldere strategie en concepten die staan, zodat investeringen in de juiste oplossing gaan en het resultaat blijvend is.

Mijn werk ligt waar business, mensen en technologie samenkomen. Ik maak complexe systemen begrijpelijk, test ideeën vroeg met prototypes en breng stakeholders op één lijn voordat er geld in ontwikkeling gaat. Nieuwe technologie hoort bij mijn gereedschap, zowel in hoe ik werk als in wat ik ontwerp.

Ik ben opgeleid als industrieel ontwerper (MSc, intelligente systemen en producten) en werk sinds 2010 in UX. Sindsdien heb ik bedrijfskritische applicaties vormgegeven in de zorg, wonen, overheid en financiële sector, voor organisaties als Radboud umc, de Belastingdienst en ING. Ik breng organisaties verder met UX.

Features worden verwacht. De ervaring onderscheidt je en daar betalen mensen voor.

Jouw klanten komen eerst

Soms betekent dat dat ik het niet met je eens ben.

Technologie verandert,

Technologie blijft veranderen. Hoe mensen werken blijft opvallend constant, dus daar begin ik.

De oplossing is niet het probleem

Voordat er iets ontworpen wordt, stellen we het probleem ter discussie.

Observatie verslaat mening

Ik zit eerst in het echte werk voordat er één scherm bestaat.

Durf
vooruit te denken
